UH System

The University of Houston-Downtown, or UHD, is one of four public universities within the University of Houston (UH) System, governed by the Board of Regents.

Each has its own president and administration, and is responsible for generating funding to supplement support received from state appropriations. The President of UH-Downtown is Dr. Max Castillo.
