The
Willow Street Pump Station is an important architectural artifact
of Houston. The Pump Station is located near the confluence of White
Oak and Buffalo Bayou. While the structure has been updated for
contemporary use, the red brick building's original architectural elements
are beautifully preserved and integrated with modern technology, air-conditioning,
lighting and plumbing. Now open by UH-Downtown for community-sponsored
exhibitions, special events and conferences, the Willow Street Pump Station
once again contributes to the vitality of the city.
To reserve the Willow Street Pump Station, please complete
a Event Request Form
