What is Onboarding?

Onboarding is the long-term process of acclimating new employees to the university and providing the tools and knowledge necessary to become productive and successful employees throughout their tenure at UHD.

What to bring on your First Day

• UHD New Employee Guide that was mailed to you.

• Forms of identification in order to complete your I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form.

• Banking institution’s routing and account number for your Direct Deposit form. Direct deposit is mandatory. If you do not have a bank account, you will need to have your payroll check deposited to a CashPay card through Bank of America.

• Your completed forms that were mailed to you (i.e. Employee Data Sheet, Direct Deposit Authorization, Form W-4, Form I-9)
