Software License Audit

Each state agency shall perform a biennial audit of software licenses for software installed in the agency's desktop and portable computers. The audit shall report whether the agency is paying for a license for software that is not being used by the agency or that the agency doesn't need. The agency shall report audit results to the Department in a form and as prescribed by rules of the Department.
